FAQS (Frequently asked questions)

Videos

What is Vauxhall City Farm TV?

Vauxhall City Farm TV is a way for young people to enjoy the farm from the comfort of their own home (or anywhere with an internet connection). We've put a total of 30 videos online for you to enjoy. The videos are divided into two sections - for 4-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds. You'll be able to meet many of the animals on the farm, learn how to care for them, get to know some of our staff and volunteers, and see what goes into getting the farm ready each day.

How often are you putting videos on the website?

We added two new videos each week from the end of July to the end of October 2020.

What ages are the videos suitable for?

Our videos are designed for children aged 4-6 years old and 7-12 years old but can be enjoyed by animal lovers of any age.

Why did you want my email address?

At the end of each video we asked you for your email address. We used your email address to notify you when we put a new video on the Vauxhall City Farm TV website. It's thanks to our generous funders that we have been able to create these videos, so we may get in touch to find out a bit more about you, and how you have found the videos. You can opt-out of this at any time.

Are your videos subtitled?

Yes. We have added English subtitles to all our videos that have dialogue.

Donations

Do you take donations?

We definitely do! We rely on donations to keep the farm running. If you would like to make a donation, head on over to the donation section of our main website - https://www.vauxhallcityfarm.org/donate/

The Farm

Where is Vauxhall City Farm?

We're located just a few minutes walk from Vauxhall Bus, Train, and Underground Station (National rail and Victoria line) across the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. Our address is 165 Tyers Street, SE11 5HS.

When is the farm open?

We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday, 10.30am to 3.30pm. You don't need to book to visit the farm. We don't charge an entry fee but we do rely on your donations to keep the farm running. Please give generously if you can afford to do so. If you would like to make a donation online, please visit https://www.vauxhallcityfarm.org/donate/

Do you offer riding lessons?

Our riding school is currently closed while we carry out essential repairs to the stables and the riding arena. We are hoping to re-open the riding school again in late April 2021.
